Google vs. China

You go google. All the way. Let China do all the filtering they want as a business in a free country it is not up to us to assist with censorship. I am glad they pulled out and I hope more businesses do the same. I heard rumor today that Godaddy was going to pull out as well and that makes me even more excited.

Facebook Patent

The patent office is outdated and needs to be closed. This is ridiculous. So what because you have now awarded a patent on something that everyone is already using everyone should now stop. That is ridiculous. Either issue patents faster or once a technology or concept is shown to be working in several areas then it should not be allowed a patent.

Facebook was awarded a patent for streaming news feeds on social sites. This can and will effect many sites and all it will do in the long run is shut down new services that are trying to compete in this space. I just don’t know how this can be allowed to happen.
